If you find yourself in the snow-kissed paradise of Niseko, make sure to step into the warm embrace of Cafe Cubanos Niseko. Nestled conveniently along the main road leading to the ski lifts at 170-136 Nisekohirafu 2 Jo, Kutchan, Abuta District, this delightful cafe is the perfect pit-stop for weary adventurers looking to recharge.

The moment you enter, you’re greeted by a cozy atmosphere that radiates warmth, helping you shake off the chill of Hokkaido winters. The friendly staff make it feel like home, offering a degree of hospitality that makes you want to linger longer over your cup.

Cafe Cubanos specializes in a delightful array of beverages and bites that will entice your senses. Start with the decadent hot chocolate, whose velvety texture has won the hearts of many young visitors—one reviewer’s daughter couldn’t get enough and insisted on visiting twice for a second cup! Or, if you’re in the mood for something with a kick, try their chai latte, a blend that evokes the essence of cozying up next to a fireplace.

Coffee lovers will find their bliss here, thanks to expertly crafted brews like the almond flat white and the irresistible cappuccino. Not to mention, patrons rave about the breakfast sandwiches, particularly the homemade sausage roll that tantalizes with each hearty bite. One customer declared the bacon and egg roll with wasabi mayo as the "best breakfast roll ever," complete with an explosion of flavors that keep you reaching for more.

What’s even better? The cafe has a casual, laid-back vibe that invites you to unwind and enjoy free WiFi while savouring your meal. It's an ideal nook not just for a quick coffee pick-me-up, but for spending a leisurely afternoon lounging with friends or diving into that book you've been meaning to read.

While the shared restroom with the physiotherapy center might require a bit of shoe removal (a slight inconvenience in your snow gear), regulars assure that it’s a small price to pay for the warmth and comfort that awaits inside. Plus, the flavors and aromas will more than make up for the brief hassle.

In summary, Cafe Cubanos Niseko is more than just a cafe; it’s a sanctuary where good food meets friendly faces. Whether it is warming your soul with their signature peanut butter hot chocolate or indulging in a well-made sandwich, this charming spot deserves a place on your must-visit list while in Niseko.

One of the best cafes in Niseko, conveniently located at the main road heading towards the ski lifts, comes with great and friendly service. The hot chocolate was my daughter’s favourite, she insisted we return for it and she had two! For the latte, they offer non lactose milk alternatives and I had the almond which was delicious. The chai latte is also highly recommended and is reminiscent of the chai lattes from Australia. The food was good as well, and promptly prepared.

Great little corner to take a break. Very small. Yum burger :) Toilets are shared with the physio & you need to take your shoes off which is a little annoying if you’re in snow gear.

Amazing coffee - I had a cappuccino and a delicious breakfast sandwich with homemade sausage. Cute place to sit, free WiFi, they take credit cards.

Best. Breakfast. Roll. Ever. Had the bacon and egg roll with wasabi mayo and added sausage as well cos I was feeling greedy and damn, it did not disappoint! It was a messy but really delicious treat, and definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had all year. The Cubanos was great as well — super tasty! Great coffee, friendly staff and a really chill spot to just relax for the afternoon. Really glad we stopped by! 10/10 recommend

It was snowing on the day that we had to leave Niseko - we found this little cafe at the corner of a street. As it was icy cold outside, it felt warm and cosy inside the cafe with friendly service. Special mention to the peanut butter hot chocolate that the daughter fought with me till the last drop; with the flat white tasted especially good that morning! The Cubanos sandwich was the star of the morning, with the ham & cheese plus beef & cheese toasties rounded up the perfect morning!

Great coffee made by super friendly staff - cheers Boe and Karen! Also, the donuts created by head chef Owain are heavenly.

Best coffee in Niseko so far: just like a flat white back home in Perth Australia. Coffee was strong, smooth, not burnt. The peanut butter hot chocolate was also banging! Friendly service coupled with a cosy setting (only sits about 12 people inside) - what a beauty!

Little spot that serves a great Cuban. I live in miami and this was on par with the Cuban sandwiches you can find out there. The chai was top 3 I’ve had. Def recommend.
